This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. There isnt anything I have tried that I have not loved so far! I highly recommend the fried ramen, fried rice, and ramen bowls. I tried them spicy and not spicy, and birth we're delicious! The service is always wonderful, observant, and fast. The food is cooked to perfection and also comes out fast. 10/10 recommend

We stopped at this place on our way to Wisconsin. They had the most friendly staff Iโve seen in a while. I wanted a lychee mojito boba and they first explained in detail how they made it then accommodated my request to make some modifications. We took the food to go and it was the best quality, delicious and carefully cooked and packed. Definitely recommend.

Ramen & Tea โ 7062 Walton St, Rockford, IL 61108 โญโญโญโญโญ If youโre looking for a place that serves comfort in a bowl, Ramen & Tea absolutely lives up to its window slogan! From the moment you walk in, youโre greeted by a bright, colorful dining room with fun dรฉcor, cozy seating, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. The food was fantastic. The ramen bowl was loaded with tender beef, crispy tempura shrimp, fresh broccoli, carrots, sweet corn, green onions, and a rich, flavorful broth with just the right amount of spice. Every bite felt like a warm hug. The shrimp and beef fried rice was equally impressiveโpacked with flavor, generous portions of meat and shrimp, and cooked perfectly. The fruit tea was refreshing, colorful, and paired perfectly with the meal. The restaurant itself is spotless, with playful artwork covering the windows, fun ramen-themed decorations, and plenty of natural light. Itโs clear that a lot of care goes into both the food and the dining experience. Whether youโre a ramen lover or just looking for something different in Rockford, this place is definitely worth a visit. Ramen & Tea ๐ 7062 Walton St, Rockford, IL 61108 And remember:

The servers were super friendly and attentive. I ordered the black garlic tonkotsu ramen, spicy. Just for the record, I could not tell that it was spicy, but the flavor was still very good, and the meat was so tender. The portion size was good: a very filling single-portion for me but worth 2 servings to my friend. They do not have dairy alternatives for their boba, though they are willing to substitute boba in place of the coconut jelly in any of their fruit teas, which are only served cold. I got the hot rose tea and asked for boba with that. They brought me the pearls in a separate dish, and the hot rose tea in a crystal glass teapot with matching teacups. The tea was delightful and stayed hot through my entire meal. The boba texture was also very good. In terms of atmosphere for someone who is easily overstimulated, the lighting was not too harsh, and the music wasn't too loud/distracting. There was one TV monitor playing "Wreck It Ralph" in my peripheral vision, but it was high enough and far enough out of my direct line of sight that it was not too distracting. There were a couple lines of bright LED lights on the walls that were pretty bright, but they were tolerable. I
